Back in January, I found an old, faded reel of 8mm film I shot in the mid-70's when they tore down The Savoy, my old neighborhood movie theater in the Bronx. I have so many great childhood memories of that run down theater and decided to composed a short film using the footage. The Savoy, like most other single screen neighborhood theaters across America are pretty much gone. I just added a new ending and reposted it on YouTube.
I was driving home from work on Saturday morning and I was waiting for the light on the corner of 57th & 11th Avenue in Manhattan. The car in front was turning right. My dashboard mounted iPhone 3GS captured what happened next.
