My two word Tweet immortalized
Nobody understands Twitter better than David Pogue, the NY Times technology columnist. For the past few months, David has been busy asking his many Twitter followers (350,000 and growing) to Tweet replies to one of his nightly questions: "Add 1 letter to a famous person's name; explain. Example: Puma Thurman, sexy jungle actress. Seconds later, a Tweeter shoots back, "Amy Swinehouse -- refused rehab for her bacon addiction". And then another Tweets, "Gal Pacino -- the first Academy award-winning crossdresser". And on it goes... This has not only been great fun for all, but David has been compiling the best answers in a new book called "The World According to Twitter". And I'm happy to say I just received a message from David telling me that one of my Tweets will be included in the book and I'll receive an autographed copy, when it's published in the fall. How cool is that? I won't tell you what my "witty" two word response was - you'll have to read the book - but the question was, "Invent a restaurant concept that's likely to fail". Think about it. I'm sure you can come up with a few good ones yourself. Remember - 140 characters or less. If you want to have some fun with Twitter and also keep informed about the latest in technology, be sure to follow David Pogue on Twitter - @Pogue.
