Giving Posterous a try
Sometimes writing and posting blog entries are a pain, especially when you're not in front of your computer. Thanks to Andy Ihnatko, the technology columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times who is currently blogging his way through China, I've discovered Posterous (http://posterous.com). It's claims to be a simple way to post stories, comments, pictures, audio, or music just by sending an email. There's no login, no signup. You just send your first post to post@posterous.com and they set everything up for you and will assign you a custom email address to send future postings. This might be the way to go since I like the idea of doing everything from my iPhone. This is my first post and if all goes well I will redirect prompterbob.com to my new Posterous site. I know this is a bunch of techno-babble for most of you, but I think it's pretty cool. Stay tuned.
